Frontlit PET Film and Backlit Film are two different types of lamp materials.Backlit PET Film is a composite of substrate and coating layers, with the coating primarily on the backside. It consists of specialized layers with an opaque light-blocking layer on top. When light hits the material from the front, the ink from the printing on the backside penetrates the coating, resulting in a positive image. The advantage of this approach is that it doesn’t damage the print even when used in backlit lightboxes. It is mainly used for backlit lightboxes, but it comes with limitations.
